The Department has a well furnished and
equipped class rooms, Seminar hall, Computer
Lab and Library. Students make use of the
Centralised browsing center and digital
library facility to refer various
knowledgeable and courseware. The students
activities include participation and paper
presentation in Seminars, Symposium,
Industrial Visits, Extra-curricular
activities, Cultural activities, etc. As
part of the evaluation, the faculty
concerned does internal assessment of
student’s academic performance. The Faculty
of the Department comprises of full time
staff and staff drawn from other
departments. The regular lectures are
supplemented by guest lectures by experts
invited from academic institutions as well
as industries. |

Academic Lecture Rooms:
The Classroom is equipped with Split
type Air conditioners, 60 Perforated chair
with Half Writing Pad and provision for
keeping books , Notice Board Green
Chalkboard, provisions for OHP and LCD
Projector and Adequate Lighting and
Ventilation Facilities. In addition, the
institute has a well equipped air conditioned
seminar hall and air conditioned conference hall.

Library:
A rich collection
of about 3000 volumes of books, periodicals,
reports and reference material facility is
available. Separate research center subscribes
to major technical journals, magazines &
newspapers. Various CD-ROMs and Video Cassettes
are available for reference. Photocopier,
Cyclostyle and Spiral Binding facilities are
provided for the benefit of students.

Computer Laboratory
The department provides extensive computing and
communications resources in support of its
activities. 30 computers with all Software
Packages with Internet Facility and 4
printers are available. Students can access the
Computer Laboratory after working hours.

Counselling
Counselling aims
to relate to students in a supportive and
purposeful manner and assist them in the task of
finding their own way forward. It offers a
confidential space in which students can talk to
faculty members about their concerns. It also
offers students an understanding, a feeling of
being listened to, valued and accepted in a
non-judgmental way. |

Entrepreneurial Development Cell
|

The National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN)
member academic institutes are at the forefront
of the entrepreneurial change. They build
programs and courses that create and support
India’s next generation of entrepreneurs and
entrepreneurial leaders. NEN has identified our
college for Institutional Membership. By signing
up to join NEN, the college assumes a critical
role in creating and supporting India’s largest
entrepreneurial community. The college is
responsible for driving the changes on the
ground that will enable India’s entrepreneurial
growth and the college supports in these efforts
by the NEN Trust. In this connection, a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed
with the Department of Management Studies,
Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College
in the college campus. |
| Industry – Institution Interaction Cell |

An Industry Institution Interaction Cell is
established to have interaction with leading
Industries. All the industrial training and
placement activities for the students and
faculty program in industries are the motto of
this cell. Students are open to a wide range of
opportunities to develop their practical skills
in career development, leadership qualities and
management skills through continuous and
sustained interaction from the industry. |
| Guest Lectures |
|
Eminent expert faculties are invited by the
college authorities to deliver lectures on their
special subjects pertaining to different aspects
of management related to course program. The
main aim of such lectures is full utilization of
latest knowledge of these experts including
sharing of their practical experience with the
students.

Considering the fact that all students are not
equally capable of understanding subject related
concepts, special coaching classes are conducted
every week for Weaker Students to help them to
score better results in the subjects.

Students are encouraged to participate in
various inter-collegiate meets in order to get a
hands-on experience in various concepts such as
Advertising, Product Development, Stress
Management, Stock Markets, Business Knowledge,

An humble
beginning was made in the month of October
2006 and office bearers were elected to
organize series of functions and other
department activities. They are systematically
trained how to conduct meetings ad seminars

Value Added Courses |

Tally Financial Accounting Software Package
Course has been introduced to students in order
to facilitate them to get placed in Financial
Services Industries. This course is conducted
in-campus during weekends. |

Centre For Sustainable Rural Development |
|
The main idea behind this Centre is to train the
students of the Department of Management Studies
in rural development activities and make them
socially responsible. Besides this, exposure
will make them to move with people of all levels
and this will have good effect when they have
been employed to do survey, data collection and
follow-up. This experience will be highly
helpful especially for students of Marketing and
Human Resource electives.Under this centre, they
will periodically visit the villages and study
the rural difficulties and try to help and guide
the villagers to solve their problems. Students
will meet bank officials, government department
officials and get the maximum possible help. By
this, the students identifies a problem, find a
solution and try to bridge the gap of needs and
this will make them sound because students get
experience. It is also suggested that these
students will do a project under this condition
with which he is able to learn many things. The
above programme is besides routine rural
developmental activities like tree planting,
spreading awareness about cleanliness and
sanitations, importance of blood and eye
donations |
Personality Development Courses |

Personality Development Programmes are conducted
for students by our Faculty Members, outside
experts and Consultants to improve their
personality and to prepare them for Interviews
and Written Tests in order to enable them to get
a suitable job. |

practical knowledge in different functional
