| ACCIDENT INSURANCE FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF |
A sum of Rs.50,000/- is insured towards personal accident insurance for each non-teaching staff.

| EMPLOYEES PROVIDENT FUND & FAMILY PENSION |
Regarding EPF 12% (8.33 + 3.67) for Pay + DA is being recovered from every employee from the date of their joining in this College and the same amount of contribution is paid by the Management. Out of the 12% recovered towards EPF 3.67% is diverted to family pension scheme as per rules . |
| MESS & CANTEEN: |
A Vegetarian Canteen & Juice Stall are functioning in this College Campus. Tiffin items are sold on subsidiary rates for all the staff and students. Two Vegetarian messes are also functioning in this college campus one for Jain and other for Non-Jain students and staff respectively. The lunch is served to all staff (Teaching & Non-Teaching) free of cost. Purified drinking water is supplied in the college for benefit of all students and staff. |

All the Teaching & Non-Teaching staff members are granted a sum of Rs.150/-p.m. for meet-out petrol expenses for their own vehicle. But these staff members cannot travel by college bus.

| FESTIVAL GIFTS (DIWALI GIFTS) |
The Management has decided and sanctioned a Diwali Gift of Rs.1000/- to each teaching staff and Rs.750/- to each non-teaching staff. Apart from this a Sweet Packet of ½ kg are distributed to all the staff members every year. |
| TELEPHONE / CELL PHONE ALLOWANCE |
Few staff members like Principal, Vice-Principal, Sr. Placement Officer and Industrial Relations & Executive are granted Cell Phone allowance of Rs.700/-p.m . and the Hostel Wardens are being paid a sum of Rs.300/-p.m. each. |

The Management is arranging staff get-to-gether outside the college for all the staff members along with their family members once in a year. |

| FREE DISPENSARY |
A full fledged Medical Officer is functioning in this college campus with effect from 01.02.2002 with a Medical Officer & Staff Nurse. Medical treatment are given to staff and students for any sickness. Further, there is a free checkup for near by residents on all Saturdays. A tie up arrangement is made with Shankara Hospital, Perumpakkam. |
| SPONSORSHIP FOR STAFF & STUDENTS FOR ATTENDING / PRESENTING PAPER IN CONFERENCES |
Staff members and students are granted permission to attend conferences on their request. They are paid with actual Bus / Railway fare + Auto fare.
Staff “sponsorship abroad” staff and students are permitted for present papers in international conferences held in other countries also. To encourage students and staff to present papers in conferences for National / International Seminar registration charges + incentive are given suitably. |

| CONCESSION GIVEN BY MANAGEMENT |
Staff who have been responsible for securing 100% pass in their subjects are rewarded.
One time service incentives offered for staff who have put in above 3 yrs / 6 yrs / 9 yrs / 11 yrs on a date specified by management.
One day salary given to all staff as a token of appreciation for their dedicated efforts during TIES –2 007 in addition to gift.
Subsidized Transport fee @ Rs.50/- per month is charged for all the staff uniformly.
Ph.D. allowance of Rs.500/- given to all faculty members having Ph.D. Degree (or) to those who have obtained Ph.D. degree while in service.
Special leave / OD for those who have registered for Ph.D. and doing Ph.D. work. |
| MATERNITY LEAVE CONCESSION FOR LADIES STAFF: |
Lady teaching staff members who have completed a minimum of 6 years service in this College and who possess the prescribed qualification for the post concerned as per norms of Anna University / AICTE are granted Maternity Leave for 2 months with full pay. The 2 months salary will be deposited in a fixed deposit scheme in the name of the child concerned for a period of 15 years so as to help future development of the child. This benefit will be applicable for one time only and this can be enjoyed only once in the entire service the College.

| PROMOTION / SERVICE BENEFITS TO TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING STAFF: |
Lecturers / Senior Lecturers have been promoted to the Post of Asst Professor and Asst Professor to the post of Professors in the respective departments and monitory benefits are given to them.
Service incentive with monitory benefits were given to 37 teaching staff and 71 non-teaching staff w.e.f. 01.10.2006.
Special salary revision were given to 6 staff members considering their higher qualifications and experience.
Salary of Computer Operators, Lab Instructors, Drivers, Conductors and Library Assistant were revised in order to maintain uniformity w.e.f. 01.10.2006 and special incentive were given to Drivers & Conductors w.e.f.01.03.2007.
Annual increments were given periodically to all teaching and non-teaching staff members who have satisfied the norms. |
| PURSUING HIGHER STUDIES FOR FACULTY MEMBERS: |
| Permission were given to 12 faculty members to undergo higher study for Ph.D. Programme apart from ME / M.Tech programmes to 14 faculty members for the last 2 years. |
